Beyond the World Humanitarian Summit: SG Report

On 22 September 2016, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will launch his report on the outcomes of the World Humanitarian Summit and the online Platform for Action, Change and Transformation (PACT), a dynamic advocacy tool to advance the Agenda for Humanity.

The extensive consultation process, the multi-stakeholder nature and the scale of participation made the World Humanitarian Summit unique in substance and format. 

“This unique Summit has set us on a new course,” said Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. “It is not an end point, but a turning point”.

In his newly released report, the Secretary-General's highlights some of the priority areas that emerged from the Summit and identifies means of advancing the Agenda for Humanity over the coming years.
